Dear Members
A short update regarding Chamonix
Whilst we seem to be making progress on the landscaping front by using Chamonix to push back on Consortium progress on resolving the "Unremedied Liabilities " within the house phases is proving to be difficult.First let's just finish up on the landscaping front, finally after two years of pushing Chamonix has replaced three of four trees by the swale at Tesco Kissing gate at their cost so a minor drumroll please.
Now we have senior management at Chamonix on the hook we have no intention of letting go as just like the idiom of being a Bulldog it's important that we continue to be tenacious in the face of adversity if we are to get things completed as they should be.
Chamonix is providing updates albeit not positive in the sense of getting dates to do the actual work at the minute, but it's some progress in the right direction. A video call is planned with Taylor Wimpey and Bovis next week to discuss the issues. It's just Persimmon where no engagement appears to have happened yet. We will provide a further update on the the outcome of video conferences from next week for Taylor Wimpey and Bovis. In regards to Persimmon we will look at where we can apply pressure to bear to get them to come to the table with a programme to complete the necessary works they committed toWe hope the situation with dog waste collections get back to normal next week and will continue to apply pressure to Chamonix on the upgraded capacity bins which we understand have been ordered
